Aaron Bunker, LPC
As a licensed professional counselor, Aaron loves working with couples and individuals to help them resolve their conflicts and struggles. Life can be difficult, and he is here to offer hope, strength, and compassion in the midst of the journey. Whether single, married, or engaged, Aaron can help clients grow independently and in their relationships using a variety of techniques and assessment tools. Aaron’s training and experience working from a Christian perspective allows him to help people who seek to integrate their beliefs and values in the work they do and the decisions they make in counseling.
Aaron received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. As an associate member of the American Board of Christian Sex Therapy (ABCST), pursuing a certification in sex therapy, Aaron has specialized training in working with couples and individuals who face challenges in their sexuality. He creates a safe, open, welcoming space to explore sensitive issues such as intimacy, addiction, sexual orientation, and desire with the goal to help people appreciate their sexuality in light of their faith and values.
He is excited to offer couples tailored assessments of their strengths and weaknesses using the SYMBIS assessment and also the Prepare Enrich assessment tool. Additionally, he is trained in techniques by John Gottman, a renowned researcher and educator in the field of couple’s counseling.
He is married to Hannah and is the father of active twin toddlers.
